The Pond grew hot- no sushi here!

We have complained all summer, about it not really being very sunny or even warm- but of course, the heat comes in a sudden wave just as we are looking at pumpkins and dreaming of all the little ghosts and goblins forthcoming. It’s hot. The last few days have been the hottest of the year and we have felt it. The other night our house, downstairs, was 98 degrees at 10pm. We dare to think of what our upstairs was running as our sheets were hot to the touch. We slept in the living room. By early evening we were all pretty cranky… so, just like last year, we pulled out the hose- ghetto style! The idea was to cool off Fisher’s body temperature before we put him down for the night. So, two things about these pictures are hilarious! Can you guess what I am going to say? No? Wait! Don’t peek…

Fudge, too much build up. It’s not that crazy- sorry.

We thought this would be a great opportunity to get Fish in his new big boy undies! (Yo Gabba Gabba- yoooou go Fish- that’s awesome!) Anyway, okay.. how funny does he look in them? Like, seriously, no one can ever look good in a pair of huggers! Fisher looks fantastic in anything, and yet… these are just darn funny. Our little man. It's cute.

The other thing, not really funny as in ‘ha-ha’ but as in a statement- how much does Fish love his orange Home Depot bucket? Seriously, ummm… the birthday bucket of balls has gone very far with this kiddo! Rule of the bucket No. 32: a water holding device and/ or pool.  Thanks Poppi Tops for knowing just what Fish finds entertaining.  Video below of a very silly (all boy) Fisher.
