Life is Sweeeet!

Abbigail's Sweet Sixteen
Party- October 14 2011

Can you guess the theme? Hot pink, black, white, zebra and bling!
Go Abbi! Go Abbi!

Cake/ Dessert stand.

The guest book; we asked everyone to write a great piece of advice to Abbi.
Most did not- yeah, that's for you.
But the ones who did; were funny, sweet and made us teary!

Partially decorated gazebo, which was turned into zebra bling. Tables set up around the yard for guests but this reserved just for her majesty and special guests.

If we never see a zebra stripe and hot pink again I think we will be happy people. Sorry Abbi!

Candy Bar.

Abbi's candy bars. Her favorite Hershey bar flavors.

Getting ready!

Her tiara (thank you Mariam, she felt like a princess!) and dress (a cream silk halter).

Auntie Sandy's Cannoli- special request of Abbi instead of a big cake. Sandy even made them hot pink! They are pretty amazing!!! Thank you, Sandy!

The dessert topper was a custom cake.

It was a super hot and humid day- we were all dying during set-up... but poor Abbi's hair suffered the most, she was so upset, although she still looked adorable!

Lizette, Abbi & Matt.
Matt incidentally broke his foot at his football game right before the party so he was very late. Abbi was so worried... it was pretty cute. Other than he broke his foot during his game, of course.

And from here on out, I will confess it gets pretty fuzzy and blurry. Candle light after dark did not make for great pictures. And yes, the grown ups were having fun celebrating Abbi's milestone as well. I mean, it was my birthday, too! Fuzzy and Blurry.

Okay- classic parent photo: Nate and I have no idea what we were saying, but man, were we trying to make a point or what??!?! Classic. I am risking my ego to  post this one because it is too funny! Check-out the progression
1. Lecture
2. Try to fix the flat hair and look foxy despite weather and drink
3. Smile for picture

Brothers
Nate and Tzaddi with little Brixton

Tio Nick & Nate being silly

The youngest guests: Sawyer & Isela.

Layla Mae!

Think they escaped under the tables to eat cupcakes- I see all the pink frosting and poor Brixton looks like he has too much sugar! Classic boy cousins up to no good- Fish has his hand on his knee like "I got this on Brix, just sit there and don't puke!!! Moooom, what's happening?"

Uncle Dubb$

Gifts! Matt, due to his new handicap was a very supportive boyfriend in his hold- and- hand- gift role.

... I don't know. It's an inside joke.. we are not privvy to. But it's cute when they do it.

Matt's football number!

pink icing on his cheek. haha.

Oh yeah, Mama was celebrating! Very into that conversation!

Little brother had a great time, too!

The end- hey like I said- it all got a little blurry and apparently my face got alot puffy!

Happy Birthday, Sweet Girl we all love you, so!
