Day to be Thankful

Thanksgiving 2010.
We had a cozy Thanksgiving weekend; stayed housebound, snuggled, PJs being the choice of attire. Fisher was under the weather with a nasty winter cold. We thought we would have to bypass the Holiday and care for him, but he perked up just in time to celebrate a few hours with the Family. He was kind of acting the turkey and a tad cranky, but he held up well thanks to modern medicine. The air was actually pretty chilly (until Thanksgiving Day of course- when the sun greeted us for a few hours before a cold fall set back in.) This year we are each Thankful for…
Nate- The everyday generic things that most take for granted. That at the time of the holiday, the Raiders were on a 3 game win streak, and that as I type this we are beating the crap out of SD.
Misty- For another year of unconditional love from my friends and family. For those who continue to know I carry them in my heart, even when I don’t pick up the phone often. For the health and safety and happiness of those I love. For continued blessings that seem to grace us. For Nate- always my rock.
Abbi- For my friends and family
Fisher- That Mama and Daddy have not confiscated my Nuk- permanently- yet.
And so our Christmas season begins… we welcome the wonderment, cheer and jolly fervor that accompanies it.

I baked one of my apple pies!
After.

Nate sneaking some dough. Yuk.

Fisher made his first pie!
A pumpkin pie.

Later Thanksgiving day at Cannington Manor.

Stripes!

Fisher shows affection by petting. Seriously. It's like hugs.

The kids.

He wore himself out! He snuggled right to sleep, holding Bear. How cute.

Fishy Art.
Medium: Finger paint
Style: Fauvism
Fisher's five color period.

Doing hand prints with Daddy. My two lefty's.

It's like Blue Man Group.

Yeah. Seriously.

Off to take a bath, Mister.
