... you're beating the pink out of a pig!
Not very much to update you all on. Still unpacking and organizing. Not very exciting and the progress is slow. Really slllloooooow But here are a few pictures from the last few weeks, as to not skip a beat, in the documentation and progression of our Fish.
~*~
Jen (Nen-nen) sent us a Peppermint Pig, for Christmas. We decided to save it until we moved into to our new home, to celebrate. It's a Southern Christmas thing.
You bag the pig, pass it around the table and each person whacks it with the little hammer... then you all eat the pieces. It's good luck and apparently dates back to the early 1800's. Nate and the kids had a blast!
In all the pictures you can see how fast that hammer is going.
A little aggressive, are we?
The kiss of death? Lick. Same thing.
And around the table we went, starting with the head (no comment). In fact, it was so fun beating the pink outta the pig, we went several more rounds.
Go Fisher, go!
Pig 0, Clemons 10
Abbi was laying on the floor, minding her own beeswax when Fish decided to tackle her!
I had my money on the Fish.
Enough of this aggressiveness!
Art time. Time for Art. Happy Trees.
This past weekend we went to visit Baby Willits. Ring a bell? Of course it does. We threw Layla's baby shower back in October. She is now a little over 4 weeks old.
Layla Mae Willits.
She is sweet as can be. Very observant. A full head of yellow hair!
Uncle Nate and Layla.
Yes, he's a natural!
Layla and Mommy.
Abbi
Fisher and Layla. He kept patting her hair and trying to give her her paci.
This is what she thought about it.
We wish you a wonderful life Layla. Welcome to the world!
Enjoying a Popsicle. Don't worry- 100% juice- no sugar added. I take that back, there is one thing added and that is Fisher's silliness!
Weekend for taking pictures of my child, eating sweets, without his shirt. Why is his shirt off? Because table manners seem to be years away! He's super messy!
Nana Noni brought over a Valentine's treat for us; an amazing, decadent and rich cake from Extraordinary Desserts! Such a treat!
We asked Fisher if he wanted cake, he said “yes."
We asked Fisher if he wanted chocolate cake and he said “yeeees!” while jumping and then put himself in his booster seat- which he normally dislikes. He was not passing this up!
Lot's of yummy sugars added to this one!
Lot's of yummy sugars added to this one!
Enjoy it now, kiddo. After you start those ballet lessons you won't be eating this stuff very often!
I asked him for a bite. This is what I got. Seriously!
Okay. Now if you made this far, here is the questionable picture of the month. Can you guess?
- Is Fisher stuck in a well?
- Did he finally wiggle into one too small of a box? Like, a toilet paper roll?
- Becoming a celery stalk?
- Parachuting... up?
What did that Fish get himself into now?
____
Daddy is taking off his shirt. Fisher's head became stuck in the neck hole. A common problem for him.
We told you he is very smart. Big smarts need a big container.
