Happy Birthday Fisher Lee!

June 16th : We celebrated Fisher's official 2 year birthday!
Fisher had a very busy day. First, Susie threw Fisher a fun party with his daycare friends; complete with cake, balloons, gifts and a goody for each child. His Auntie Nen-nen phoned him in the car and sang him Happy Birthday. Later that evening we had a little family celebration. Nana Noni came over to help ring in his very first, one and only, second birthday (Poppi Tops was stuck at work. Poor Poppi Tops.) Fisher loves having house guests so, I would like to say we all played, but mostly, he just wanted to play and show off with Nana Noni, especially his mad- batting- skills with this new t-ball set. Daddy picked up a super moist and scrumptious red velvet cake from Nothing Bundt Cakes for us all to share. But as the evening wore on, the Fish became a little tired, reminding us that he is a little tadpole, so it was, that once again, we had a few tears during the cake and in the opening of his gifts from Mommy, Daddy and Abbi. Fisher had a wonderful birthday. He is a very blessed little man to have so many people who love him and touch him on a daily basis. He’s a prince who brings us joy- we could not be happier in this life!

Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday Dear Fisher...

... oh wait, don't cry...

OMG! Just look at that face. So sad, but still so cute!
Let's get to the good stuff... Yummmm...
This is more like it.

Silly!

I'd say we all enjoyed a slice of the cake. Couldn't let Fish eat alone!

Creating. Building.

Watch a video!
(the quality is a little bad so it may be hard to see his facial expression)

I spy a tired birthday boy! Gee, good thing Nana was right there! *wink*
I love how you see the tears coming on, then he just gives up and allows them to pour, then the face Nana Noni makes when she's the one he goes to. Stinkers- both of them!

Sweet Dreams little Fish. Happy Birthday!
**Nana Noni was there the day (the entire night, day and new night) while you were making your way in to this world… and held you for the first time almost exactly like this, two years ago (almost exactly)… only you were much smaller!

Fisher's Birthday Party with Susie. Spoiled boy.
Susie made him a train cake! Choo-choo!  She is so thoughtful- another blessing.
