First Day of Scool... Kindergarten for Fish!!

So much has transpired that I can't bring myself to the soapbox of our baby boy's first day of school. Parenting is hard business though, let me just say that.
It is a bit unreal- why? I am not sure, as all "this" is what we have been working towards- this very goal and yet here we sit all teary eyed and frightened of it. Crazy parents Nate and I are. But we are also proud. We are full of glee at all the wonderful things he is doing and how he has grown so quickly. We gratefully accept his nightly hugs and cuddles in hopes they never cease.

Kindergarten Fish

 

 

His classroom: He picked a hedgehog for his table pet.

The ever clown fish- of course.

 

Note the two new  (big boy) teeth coming in the bottom!! Another first; Fisher lost his first two teeth (bottom center) late summer.

 

 

And boy meets Fish.. or Fish meets fish...

In honor of big boy events, Fisher he got his very first pet! A hand picked (fav color) Beta fish whom he proudly named.... wait for it...

Fisher Jr.

Yep.

However, Fisher calls him FJ (for Fisher Jr., of course).

 

A home for FJ.

 

 

Not the same as a puppy... but... FJ is hypoallergenic!
