December 2012.
We had one of our best holiday seasons. Fisher was over-the-moon with excitement. The perfect age to believe in the magic and wonderment of Christmas and it was contagious, even Abbi was giddy!
The official 2012 Christmas morning family photo.
Hot cocoa mustache!... and Frida brow? Fisher's holiday beverage of choice!
Not to take up too much time but can I sing the praises of a first? Thank you. I ordered our tree this year.... and had it delivered to the front door- hollar!!I was very nervous as we know how I am about picking out the most perfect tree... insane more like it. But, I let go... yes, I let go... and OMG it was an amazing, fat, 7ft fresh (cut and sent via FedEx same day) tree that lasted all season. From a farm in NC. I highly suggest. Easy peasy.
Evolution of the home delivery tree:
Fisher could not wait to decorate- he was very excited...
and meticulous...
... and he had one request; He insisted that we have a gold star on top. Ummm... I never did the gold star thing, but he was so passionate about needing one that we went out and found one. Its vintage glass like my ornaments- perfect!!
Tree was so tall it took a few tries to get that star on top!
Yay!
Fisher's advent calendar yielded Playmobil this year.
Fisher's pre-school Christmas play...
So what do ya think? Is he engaged??
Is he enjoying the tunes?
Oh yes, this would be our son- the teacher is speaking to him... during the show.
Look at that face!! Up to something, but angelic.
Fisher's Elf on the shelf found silly places to sit each day.
Fisher named is his elf, Zippy.
Nothing like a present from your bestie- thanks Austin!
We did host our first annual Christmas party- Yule 2012. Had soooooooooooo much fun I did not take any pictures. Next year!
~~ Christmas ~~
Each year Fish leaves Santa a picture (note) with the milk and cookies. This year Fish drew him "a map". To where we were were not told.
Santa enjoyed his treat and left Fisher a return note!!
Still sleepy, faces.
Fisher was not thrilled to find socks in his stocking. That's not fun. That's preplexing.
Fisher and Abbi exchanged their gifts to each other first. They were so great... so special to see them together.
Awesome. Mom and Dad are pretty excited about the telescope, Santa. ;)
It's a new skateboard!
Anew and Poppi Tops come Christmas morning with a giant red bag of joy!!!
Hey- it was noon somewhere!
Oh, so that's how you get a teenager to express genuine joy- cash, not a thermal bear (teddy bear heating thingy.)
I made Monkey Bread for morning nibbles. Yummy.
Fisher bypassed the sweet breakfast for his gooey gak.
Okay- another gift...
A big a$$ crane truck!!!!
Boys really love big a$$ crane trucks!!
Three generations of Clemons men.
Fisher's other favorite gift- headlamps! ha-ha.
Christmas evening at Cannington Manor.
Silly faces!
Sawyer eats his gifts!
Abbi and Isela... so sweet.
After Christmas... enjoying his gifts!
The wild west never goes out of style.
I spy a Fish looking at me.
