Coronado. July 2012.
Fisher did not stop running the entire time!
Reflection. Reflecting. Love this.
Look closely below, his feet aren't even touching the ground!
I almost caught the seagull in the frame.
Great break behind Abber's.
Hotel Del Coronado. Looks like a postcard!
Still running...into the sunset.
Abbi grew up hiking it to the beach every day with Mom. At some points, never less than every weekend, between the wonderful beaches of two different coasts, two different oceans. West and East, each bringing their own unique pleasure. From the texture of the sand, to temperature of the water. At one beach in North Carolina Abbi and I were swarmed with a thousand ladybugs! From head to toe. For about 10 minutes. It was a lucky miracle... especially to a cute 2 year old covered in ladybugs. Another time we were stuck in a thunderstorm (not our only) but each time we'd poke our head out from under the towels and yell "rain, rain go away...!!" the clouds would part and the sun would poke through for a few seconds... Abbi thought Mama had magic! Maybe I did. We still have a jar that holds a seashell from each new beach. I can't wait for Fisher to add to the 'shell jar'. Beachin' it- natures best babysitter and joyful memories. So lucky.
Now, ummm... if Nen- nen was back with us to hike it out, it would be perfect!! *insert a wink here*
