April showers bring May flowers...

Just random pictures of May twenty- eleven.
We have been spinning on our heels, moving from one thing to the next. Still so happy and at peace in our new home and loving our new neighbors... making it all ours, getting comfy!

And finally- the Housewarming. Thank you all for coming and putting your love and positive energy throughout the Ranch.  We had so much fun... so much in fact, I did not take too many pictures.

So, Abbi will have to learn how to drive soon, with her sweet sixteen so near. Nate, being the kind and patient one... if not a little crazy... decided  to put Abbi behind the wheel and see how much work we had in store and how much training we are looking at. He did so while I stood behind the glass in the living room holding my breath with camera in hand. After all, should she walk away unscathed, I would want pictures for prosperity. I believe I did a few Hail Mary's.

In the end, Abbi did amazing! Nate was very proud and relieved.  She drove almost perfectly. I saw her coming towards the house, in Poppi Tops truck... and cried. Wow. Yesterday she was only a baby with a big gummy smile. My Boo.

Endless joys of a really big ball.

Fisher found a bush full of caterpillars. He loves to hold them. He makes them drive his cars, he takes them for rides and has even tried to eat one... all sorts of things he does with the bugs. He often wonders why they become so still. Nap time of course! Sorry caterpillars. Circle of life? I have an animal too.

Memorial Day weekend. BBQ and playtime.

Fisher and Brixton had a blast- so fun to see them bond.

Another great non-toy to amuse two toddler boys. The measuring tape stuck in tree bark game. What? Never heard of it? Well, kept these two boys entertained for a looooong time.

Poppi Tops (with some help from Tio Nick) made us the most awesome gift for Housewarming.

Lawn Bones.  They are so pretty... and so fun! Like insanely awesome!

HA! They seem so innocent... but then, the couch turned into a runaway barge that only they could power... or something to that effect... they won't tell.

As the night wore down; the boys chill over a banana and some cartoons.

And then had a good old fashioned cousin bath before PJ's.

Of course, all they really did was jump and splash the water out of tub like a crazies. Nate had bath duty and was soaked!

They were splashing water- with their feet trying to out do each other.

They looked like two penguins trying to tap dance.

Hysterical. But, watching Nate with them, soaked, was pretty funny too!
