Halloween 2010

Fisher's 3rd Halloween-  just fishy good times!
Abbi's 16th.
Mommy & Daddy's... like... billionth!

Friday evening we started at the Pumpkin Patch.

It did not take Fish long to spot a wagon and get to work! Somehow he knew just what it was used for.

He's off...

First he needed to start out... he found "his" pumpkin. A small one that he ended up taking home and placing right in the center of our table!
There it is- Pumpkin.

 Now we're off.

Okay pops, break over. Back at it.

One more...

Fisher not only loaded the entire wagon with heavy pumpkins, he actually managed to pull that thing in soft dirt. Strong Fish!!!  It was not fun unloading them, in front of the cashier, but only paying for the tiny one he picked out- which is at the very bottom.

For you Nana Noni! Seriously.. I could not believe what Fisher found in the corn stalks during his great  pumpkin hunt...

Spotted.
Seriously!

... here comes Fish.
Here roster... here... little pecking rooster...

They're both like... "What??"

Okay, this way.. more to see and do!

Just thought this was a great idea- a Flower Maze.

Mom and Dad stealing a snuggle and self portrait.

How cool was this? A gigantic old red tractor... Fisher was in little boy heaven and appropriately dressed in some down home plaid!

Mom trying to sneak in for a picture... Fish was not having it. He had serious driving to do.

Yes, he is shooing me away. Poop!

 Tractor bum!

I spy a golden haired Fish shopping for more.

Having a sit down...
This was when we knew we should go!
...  More so, it was Dad's face that told me "time to go."

A content (and sleepy) Fish drove off into the sunset.

Saturday we carved our pumpkins. Fish helped clean out the goo! In fact, he was very meticulous; he took out one seed at a time!

One. Seed. Drop. Ding.  Over and over.

Oh Deer me...
Fisher was originally going to be a deer for Halloween... only, he did not fit in his costume. The body portion was so tight that  he looked like a trapeze artist.  The belly fur of the deer, came up to Fisher’s chest- the result being that poor Fish looked like he was nude with white old man curly chest hair.  It was bad. Daddy Fish would not allow flash photography and demanded it be removed before any blood circulation was lost. I of course, still found time to snap a few pictures because the head was sooooo cute.

It looks lose, but that's cause we did not have it zipped in the back.

So... what was Fisher for his 3rd Halloween?

Amphibian? Crustacean? Or... an Aquatic Mammal?
Ladies and Gentleman, I present to you our very fishy Sea Otter.

Fisher was very, very tired... so it took a little prompting to get the poor boy dressed and out, when all he wanted was to sleep.

He found a stick. He was very happy. He just picked it up and then put it in his sack.

At first the only way he would wear his costume was with a cape- so we turned him into a King Otter. But, he was soon over that and Dad ended up wearing the royal garb.

This is the first time he went to a door to trick-or-treat. Our neighbor Dana loved him!

He just really wanted to ring her doorbell, so Dana gave him a lift.

Susie made his trick-or-treat sack.

Quickly Fisher got the hang of this. When they opened the door he would hold out his bag and say "more. pleeeeeazzzz."

He crushed other Trick- or-Treater's like clams on his tummy.
Okay, not really- he's too sweet but that was for Dad.

This is an otter with a mission!

Ott-er take the road less traveled. Always.

Curls hanging out the hood.

His other treasure: A pine cone. In his bag it went and in our living room it lives.  Who needs candy?! I promised him we would paint it this weekend.

Fisher enjoyed running around. When we got back to the house he stripped down and ate a few pieces of candy. He then helped us hand out our candy. He had much fun with that! He did not even try to eat the candy from our bowl, he just liked the pencils.

Sticky candy face.
