Another weekend blows past...

Not much new to share. Another weekend has come and gone… is it my imagination or do they just seem to breeze by in greater speed? Boo. This weekend was pretty jammed packed, I suppose that does not help matters, but when else can you do with the 150 items sitting on your Urgent list?
Fisher is growing like the Fish that he is. He is still amazing. His personality is just so awesome!! The older he gets the more it shows. He keeps us laughing! He is as sweet, super- smart, rambunctious and affectionate as ever. We are definitely in a bit of a ‘monster’ stage; he likes to make faces, monster sounds and run full speed- at all times. He does not truly feel the need to listen to Mommy or Daddy when it comes to slowing down, the words ‘Danger!!’ or ‘stop!’ or ‘No!’, eating his dinner… well… heck, anything requiring boundaries. In fact, this was all very evident this past weekend as we tried to get a family photo done. It became clear that we probably won’t get a shot in which we are not chasing after Fisher with dumbstruck looks on our faces. Fisher is growing to the beat o f his own drum… but it's a beat that we admire and can’t tire of (well, physically, we’re exhausted!) In his own way, he is doing everything right and that makes us proud.

The Elliptical. Always a preferred choice of injury.
Getting into something he's not supposed to... While running from Mommy, who was chasing him in order to wash his hands, brush his teeth and get ready for bedtime.
Danger. Falling from Elliptical while running from Mommy and caught on film.  He only cried for a minute.
But the Gods watch and protect him, while shinning down their golden light. Ahhhhh.
Finally, some good ole' handwashing and teeth-a-brushin'. He made it to bed without stitches.
One less day to worry about.

Thursday Fisher's Nana Noni and Poppi Tops came over to watch the NFL Draft. Fisher never turns down the opportunity to read with one of them... and keep reading... just one more time... stretch that bed time... another one! But, hey, it's the only time he's still.
How sweet he was though all cuddled up with his Nana Noni with his blankie, nuk and Bear. Little co-dependent but so sweet.
Judging by his look, I was interrupting.

Little Toughie. A boy and his stick.
I'm outta here.

These were funny. He was just sitting in his chair, trying to drink down some water, having a rest so he could run again. Apparently, I was bothering him so he picked up his chair, giving me the stink eye, and carried it to the grass, with his back to me on the patio, sat down and finished his moment. Can Mom's do that? Go off, ignore and take a sit down moment.
Telling me so.

Time for a Play date with Anthony and Jake.

Fisher and Jakey.
Two peas. It was so fun to watch them together. Jake is the closest in age to Fisher. Jake would babble something, Fisher would stop, look at an object, then say "yeah" and hand the requested object to him. So funny! The secrete language of Babies.
I love this picture of the two of them. Two guys working on something.
Oops caught Jake with his eyes closed.

The play date turned into a yummy Dinner. Uncle Coyne helped make dinner... Uncle Coyne made big flame, so what else do you do when there is big fire? Yes, you bring the kiddos over for a close-up look. Don't you?
* I missed the great flame shot- but the fire was like 2ft above the grill. Yikes!
I just love this picture.
Laura and Fisher.
